Court users at during the the Family Court engagement

KAMPALA: Court users at the Family Division of the High Court converged at the Division to interact with the court leadership.

Head of the Court, Hon. Justice Godfrey Namundi, flanked by Hon. Lady Justice Ketra Katunguka and Hon. Lady Justice Olive K. Mukwaya, chaired the Meeting.

Hon. Justice Namundi commended the court users who included advocates, litigants and members of the public for honoring the invitation. 

He appealed to the advocates to embrace Mediation as one of the ways to fight case backlog.  

The advocates appreciated the Division for putting in place identification tags that have minimized impersonators at the court premises.  

Notably present at the meeting were Registrar in Charge of Mediation, HW Kisawuzi Eliasa Omar, Family Division Deputy Registrar HW Mary Kaitesi Kisakye, Assistant Registrar HW Stella Atingu and Masaka District LCV Chairperson, Mr Jude Mbabali.
