The Chief Inspector of Courts, Hon. Justice Stephen Musota, on Tuesday June 13,2023 carried out inspections at the Luwero High Court and Luwero Chief Magistrates Court. 

The Chief Inspector was accompanied by the Deputy Inspector HW Dorothy Lwanga Ssempala and Magistrate Grade I, HW Catherine Nankanja. 

He was received by the Resident Judge, Hon. Lady Justice Henrietta Wolayo and the outgoing Assistant Registrar, HW Nakadaama Esther.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the performance, integrity, file management and discipline within the courts.

The Chief Inspector expressed concern about the redundancy of the Magistrate Grade II who has no cases to handle at the station. 

He also interacted with the support staff and different court users who expressed their gratitude at the way Judicial Officers handle their respective cases.
